Mark Fick joined CCLF in 2005 as the Senior Loan/Program Officer.  Mark’s work is focused on lending to affordable housing, cooperatives, social enterprises and community based organizations throughout the Chicago metro area. Additionally, he works with the CCLF technical assistance and training program to provide workshops and technical support to community development projects with a specific focus on cooperative enterprises. Over the past twenty years, he has served in a leadership position for a variety of grassroots community development and organizing campaigns in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.  He is a member of the Credit Committee of the Northside Community Federal Credit Union and the Steering Committee of Grow Greater Englewood focused on supporting urban agriculture and other healthy food business as an economic development driver for the greater Englewood area. He was a co-founder of the Stone Soup Cooperative, a social justice housing cooperative in Chicago and is co-founder of the Center for Workplace Democracy which supports development of worker-owned and cooperative businesses in the Chicago area.
