Paul Gakhal

Paul joined CCLF in March 2009. He is focused primarily on facilitating CCLF’s city and commercial/retail lending. Paul comes to CCLF from a commercial lending background, working with varied loan sizes for multifamily, mixed-use, retail, office, and industrial properties at WaMu and Astoria Federal, where he successfully launched a commercial satellite branch. He also spent the first half of his career working in strategic operations management. Paul has been active in the CRE community and has served on panels covering the credit crunch of 2007 and TOD Mixed-use Developments. He has also served as Director for both the Chicago Real Estate Council and the Illinois CCIM Chapter. Paul holds a degree in finance and real estate from The Ohio State University.
