comprehensive development assessments (CDAs)

  building for sustainability

Has your organization embarked on a community development real estate project only to have hit a roadblock? Then a Comprehensive Development Assessment may be just what you need! Ordinarily, a service like this could cost hundreds of dollars but CCLF is able to offer these assessments free of charge on a limited basis.

Comprehensive Development Assessments (CDAs) are customized, on-site, team-based technical assistance services. Designed as a followup to the Project Readiness Workshop, CDAs provide targeted expertise in organizational development as well as specific real estate experience.

Assessment Topics

  • Organizational capacity
  • Community need
  • Market analysis
  • Project feasibility

Project Types

  • Affordable housing
  • Commercial/retail development
  • Childcare/daycare facilities
  • Nonprofit/social service facilities
  • Small nonprofit businesses

Retreat format: CCLF team members and consultants meet with your organization's senior staff and board directors in an intensive, one-day retreat format.

Results at the end of the day: Your organization will emerge with a detailed plan for how to proceed, with specific recommendations for how to trouble-shoot roadblocks, to get your development project back on track.

For more information about CDAs, email our lending team or call 312.252.0440 ext. 203.

Prerequisite:
Staff or board members from your organization must have attended our Project Readiness Workshop (PRW) in order to be eligible for a CDA.
